The 18th Asian Financial Forum (AFF) will be held on 13 and 14 January 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Jointly organised by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the AFF kicks off the year as the first flagship finance event held in Asia.
Since its inception in 2007, the AFF has gone from strength to strength as a platform for thought-leadership, networking and deal-making. The 2024 edition featured 140 distinguished speakers and attracted over 3,600 participants from more than 50 countries and regions.
Under the theme ‘Powering the Next Growth Engine’, AFF 2025 will convene influential policymakers, regulators and business leaders from around the world to share their expertise and vision on the future driving forces for the global economy. It will delve into key themes such as global economic outlook, Mainland China and emerging regional opportunities, fintech, sustainable investing, digital finance and banking, and more.
Alongside the conference programme, the AFF Deal-making will continue facilitating one-on-one meetings between project owners and investors around the world, while the exhibition, consisting of the Global Investment Zone, Fintech Showcase and InnoVenture Salon, will showcase cutting-edge technologies and innovative business ideas from leading global financial institutions, tech companies and startups.
